Interpreting myself as a human living being

There are many ways to interpr3et ourselves as living, we can do this through our pulse, through our blinking and through our movement or heart rate. I chose to explore my heart rate and created a path on the page in time with how my heart beats. When I draw attention to my heart rate at times it beats faster because for some reasons tasks like this make me lose control of my breathing and blinking. Sometimes I would have a steady heart beat which can be visible through the steep paths, however you can see where it picks up the pace when the lines becomes jagged. I think this particular topic is intere4sting to explore because I have suffered with anxiety since the age of 3, so I am very familiar with how anxiety affects the body in different ways. There are many artworks that I could explore that are about the topic of anxiety. However it is very personal to each individual, so rather than taking inspiration I could sit alone with my thoughts in silence and create how anxiety makes me feel, see and breath on the page.
